The second cycle in the joint FIFA/HSE professional training programme in Sports Management is open for enrollment through October 5. The training is conducted in Russian and involves creating real projects in the sports industry. Denis Nikiforov, a first cycle graduate, talks about what they offer.

On 15th September theInternational College of Economics and Finance ICEF held its Graduation ceremony at the British Ambassador’s residence in Moscow for the 15th year in a row. At the ceremony, students were awarded their diplomas for the Double Degree programmes run jointly by ICEF and the London School of Economics.
Kirill Pogorelskiy, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Economics, Warwick University, UK, starting August 2015. Completed his Master's in Applied Mathematics and Information Technology, specialising in Mathematical Modelling in 2009 and began a PhD in Social Sciences at Caltech, USA, which he finished this year. In an interview Kirill talked about teaching at HSE, his academic interests and doing a PhD at a top American university.
Mikhail Savkin an ICEF alumnus is Global Strategy & Development Director at Schneider Electric in France. He talked to the HSE website about his education and his career.
Vladimir Gromov graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from the Faculty of Business Informatics. Completed his Masters on the Double Diploma programme at HSE and TU/e — Eindhoven Technical University.Currently lives in the Netherlands and works as a software engineer with UL Transaction Security.

Vasily Bogdan, a native of Ukraine who came to Moscow to study at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, recently graduated from the 2-year Master’s programme at the International College of Economics and Finance (ICEF). He recently spoke with the HSE news service about his rich experience in the programme and his plans for the future.
By its nature, the Master’s programme at the International College of Economics and Finance (ICEF) is an international programme, having been founded by the Higher School of Economics and the London School of Economics and Political Science. Since it was established in 2007, one of its greatest strengths has been its ability to attract talented Russian and international students alike.
Albina Manikeeva, HSE graduate in economics, is vice president for finance at AIESEC, an international student organization. She spoke to us about the opportunities to participate in international study exchange programmes, and professional and social internships.
This year, Panagiotis Sarantidis, from Greece, graduated from HSE’s International Business programme, headed by Irina Kratko. According to Prof. Kratko, foreign students’ motivations for choosing Moscow as a place to study are quite varied. Some of them intend to connect their future career with Russia, already having ideas to establish joint ventures here. Others, for example HSE students from the United States, have previously studied the Russian language, so their interest is perhaps rooted in the country’s rich cultural and historical heritage.
