Alumni of the GSB International Management Programme Won the 2024 Flourish Prize for the UN Global Goal 3
The winners of the prestigious 2024 Flourish Prize international competition dedicated to celebration of business as an agent of world benefit are this year's graduates of the Master's programme in International Management at the HSE Graduate School of Business. Daria Plotnikova, Ahmad Fahim Enayat, Nim Sisil Damayantha Panavala Kankanamge, Zohrab Serobian and Aysenem Bazarova, under the guidance of Ekaterina Ivanova, were awarded for the story of ‘Digital Technologies and Rehabilitation’ in the nomination of the UN Global Goal 3 ‘Good Health and Wellbeing’.

‘I Came Up with the Idea to Create an Application Useful for Practicing Physicians’
Dmitry Ryabtsev, a 2024 graduate of the master's programme at the HSE Faculty of Computer Science, created an AI-powered software service for ophthalmology during his two years of study. This product is now entering the market, and its developer plans to participate in establishing a working group on software engineering for medical applications at the HSE Faculty of Computer Science, with the goal of promoting more genuinely useful domestic projects. In an interview with HSE News Service, Dr Ryabtsev shared his story of how a professional doctor turned into a programmer.

On April 25, 2024 the first graduates of the HSE Film Institute Master’s Programme ‘Film Production’ made their presentations at Gorky Film Studio. The academic supervisor of the programme, Polina Ilyina, proposed a speed dating format for the event. This allowed each student to present their script ideas to significant figures in the film industry, which will form the basis of future projects.

Zaruhi Hakobyan Shortlisted for HSE Alumni Awards

Zaruhi Hakobyan, master’s graduate of the HSE University Faculty of Economic Sciences and research scientist at the University of Luxembourg, is involved not only in research but also in organising academic events for young scientists and students. As a foreign graduate of HSE University, Zaruhi was nominated for the HSE Alumni Awards ‘for her tireless enthusiasm in popularising economic science, teaching, and research at the international level’ and made the shortlist.
