Mohammed Yassir Ali Osman
Mohammed Yassir Ali Osman, from Sudan, graduated from HSE’s Master’s Programme in Population and Development. He is now a doctoral student at the HSE Doctoral School of Sociology and conducts research at the Laboratory of Social and Demographic Policies at the Vishnevsky Institute of Demography. Recently he presented his dissertation on the migration intention of African students in Russia. In this interview with the HSE News Service, Mohammed Yassir Ali Osman shares the highlights of his research, his future plans after completing his PhD, and his advice for prospective researchers.

Ihsannudin, from Indonesia, graduated from the GSB Master's Programme 'Electronic Business and Digital Innovations' in 2023. He is the CEO and founder of a tour operator specialising in travel from Indonesia to Russia. The company has organised more than 60 group tours, serving over 1,500 Indonesian travellers. Faculty of Economic Sciences Publishes Survey of Graduates
The results of a survey conducted by the staff of the International Office among graduates of the Faculty of Economic Sciences at HSE University in May–June 2025 revealed some interesting patterns regarding the educational trajectories of FES students. A total of 90 bachelor's graduates and 103 master's graduates from FES participated in the survey, accounting for 18.9% of all respondents.
