Russian Minister of Economic Development Maxim Oreshkin, who earned his Bachelor’s in economics in 2002 and his Master’s in economics in 2004 from HSE University, spoke to students of the Faculty of Economic Sciences about economic growth in Russia and what he learned at HSE University.

The master’s programme 'Financial Technologies and Data Analysis' combines information technology, mathematics, and economics. The programme puts particular emphasis on hands-on experience: as early as the first year, half of the programme’s first-year master's students receive full-time employment in data science departments of financial companies.

Maria Fay earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Business Informatics from HSE University (2013). Today, she works at SAP and is in charge of innovation projects in Central and Eastern Europe.
